QuakeCon 2022: Bethesda convention will still be digital only

QuakeCon 2022 will take place from August 18 to 20.

Microsoft-affiliated American publisher Bethesda announces that QuakeCon 2022 will take place next August, but will once again be only virtual: “Like you, we are disappointed that we will not be returning to Dallas this year. An event of this magnitude requires months of planning, and we had to make decisions while there was still too much uncertainty to commit to a successful QuakeCon in person. The QuakeCon team is already hard at work implementing new streaming programs, online dating, giveaways, charities, virtual BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) and more. We will reveal more details in June.”

Return to the physical format in 2023 for QuakeCon.

Bethesda’s QuakeCon will once again be a physical event next year: “We’re committed to returning in 2023 with our full in-person festival, and we’re already looking forward to reuniting with our friends to attend a huge BYOC filled with your latest custom PC builds, participate in the fun competitions and try out many new games and equipment for participants. “
