Realme GT Master Edition, Realme X7 Max Get Realme UI 3.0 Stable Update

After releasing the Realme UI 3.0 open beta for Realme GT Master Edition and Realme X7 Max 5G smartphones, the company has finally started rolling out the Android 12 stable update for these devices. Realme UI 3.0 update for Realme GT Master Edition contains firmware version RMX3360_11.C.05. Whereas, for Realme X7 Max, the update is released with software version RMX3031_11.A.22.

Realme has reached out to the Realme community to make an official rollout announcement. Let’s take a closer look at the features and changes the updates bring to these devices.

Realme GT Master Edition and Realme X7 Max Realme UI 3.0 Stable Update Changelog,

Realme says that users of Realme GT Master Edition with firmware version RMX3360_11.A.10 or RMX3360_11.A.12 will receive an OTA to update Android 12 on their devices. On the other hand, Realme UI 3.0 stable update is being sent as OTA to Realme X7 Max users with firmware version RMX3031_11.A.22.

The Realme 3.0 UI features a new design that aims to provide a simple, clear and comfortable user experience. Other than that, Realme has also added microphone and camera toggles to quick settings to enhance privacy. Take a look at the changelogs below,

New design

• An all-new design that emphasizes the sense of space, providing a simple, clean and comfortable visual and interactive experience.

• Changes page layout based on visual noise reduction and element placement, and prioritizes information with different colors to highlight key information.

• Redesigns icons with new materials to give icons more depth, a greater sense of space, and texture.

• Quantum Animation Engine Optimization: Quantum Animation Engine 3.0 implements the concept of mass to make animation more realistic, and optimizes over 300 animations to make them more natural to the user.

• More Creative Always-On Display: Add real meow and portrait silhouette so you can freely express yourself.

Convenience and efficiency

• Adds a “Background Thread”. Apps in the background stream continue to play video sound when you exit them or lock your phone.

• FlexDrop renamed to Flexible Windows and optimized:

• Optimized the method of switching floating windows between different sizes.

• You can now drag a file from My Files or a photo from the Photos app to the floating window.

• You can now double-tap text in a conversation in the Messages app to enlarge the text for easier reading and editing.

• Adds more Omoji decorations and face types.

Security and Privacy

• Privacy-related features, including privacy protection, passwords, and emergency call, can now be found in Phone Manager.

• Optimizes spam blocking rules: adds a rule to block MMS messages.

Performance

• Adds a quick launch feature that detects the apps you use most often and preloads them so you can quickly open them.

• Adds a chart to show battery usage.

• Improved responsiveness when turning Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Airplane Mode, and NFC on and off.

Games

• In team fight scenes, the game runs more smoothly with a stable frame rate.

• Reduces average CPU usage and reduces battery consumption.

Camera

• Now you can decide which camera modes will be displayed in the menu bar and in what order they will be displayed.

• You can now smoothly drag the zoom slider to smoothly zoom in or out when capturing video with the rear camera.

System

• Optimizes the auto-brightness algorithm to adapt screen brightness to more scenes for comfortable screen reading.

• Optimized the mistouch prevention algorithm for curved screens to reduce accidental touches.

Availability

• Optimizes accessibility:

– Adds visual effects to text instructions for an intuitive understanding of accessibility.

– Optimizes feature categorization by grouping them into vision, hearing, interactive, and general.

– Talk Back supports more system apps, including Photos, Phone, Mail, and Calendar.

Realme says the update is rolling out in batches and it could take up to a couple of weeks for a wider rollout. Android OEMs typically use phased rollouts in an attempt to minimize the impact of critical bugs.
