The Oppo Reno 8 series will be launched on May 23rd. The company’s new premium smartphones will include at least three smartphones. These include the Reno 8, 8 Pro and 8 Pro+. Ahead of the official launch, design renders of three Reno 8 series smartphones have already been leaked. A new leak from Digital Chat Station reveals more details about the three devices.

Tipster has revealed the key specs and features of the Reno 8 series. According to the leaked information, the Reno 8 Pro+ will ship with the new SoC Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. Let’s take a look at the specs, features and other details of the Oppo Reno 8 series known so far.

Oppo Reno 8 series specifications

Oppo will launch the Reno 8 series on May 23rd. Ahead of the official launch, the specifications of three phones have been leaked online. According to a new leak, the vanilla Reno 8 will feature a triple camera setup. The phone will feature a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP tertiary sensor. The phone has a 32MP front camera for selfies.

The device will feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. It will pack a 4500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging out of the box. Reno 8 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC.

As for the Pro model, the Reno 8 Pro will be powered by an unannounced Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. The SoC is rumored to be announced at Qualcomm’s global event on May 20th. Tipster notes that the 8 Pro will feature a 6.62-inch Full HD+ E4 AMOLED display. It will support a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will have a cutout for a 32-megapixel front camera.

On the back, there will be a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP tertiary sensor. The phone will also ship with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.

The Reno 8 Pro+ will have the same camera setup and battery. It will have a larger 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate support. The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. More details will be announced at an event on May 23rd.
