Tera: servers will finally shut down after ten years of activity

Bluehole Studio, a subsidiary of Krafton, is ceasing development of Tera.

Gameforge, specialist in browser games and multiplayer online games, announces the end of the famous MMORPG where Lovers, Kastaniki, Barracks, High Elves, Humans, Elins and Poporis live together in a universe divided into several continents: We regret to inform you that the studio Bluehole development will soon stop developing Tera. After careful consideration, the South Korean team has come to the conclusion that they can no longer provide you with satisfactory content. As the last editor of Tera, we respect Bluehole’s decision with a heavy heart. Unfortunately, we will also have to close the game. The servers will be down on June 30th at 10:00 AM (4:00 AM EDT). Until then, we will be organizing regular events and hope you will still enjoy these final months at Arborea. We’re sorry that the legend of Thera is coming to an end after almost 10 years. Together we faced the dangers of Arborea and fought bravely against the Argons. We became friends and had countless adventures. We thank you for your loyalty on this long journey. You were a wonderful community!”
