OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, 8T, 9R Android 12 Stable Update Released

OnePlus is now rolling out the Android 12 stable update for the latest generation of flagship devices. The company is currently releasing OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 for the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8T. In addition to the 8 series, the OnePlus 9R is also receiving the OxygenOS 12 stable update. The Android 12 stable update for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro has been pushed back to December.

According to a post on the OnePlus forum, the Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 stable update will first be rolled out to Open Beat users, with the update rolling out to stable users soon. Here is the version of Android 12 update for devices:

One Plus 8

One Plus 8 Pro

• North America: IN2025_11.C.11

OnePlus 8T

• Optimized desktop icons with improved textures thanks to a design inspired by brand new materials and merged lights and layers.
• We fixed an issue that caused background apps to crash in certain scenarios.
• Fixed an issue with lens permissions when using third party camera apps.
• Fixed an issue that caused the screen to become unresponsive when receiving notifications.
• Dark Mode now supports three adjustable levels, providing a more personalized and user-friendly experience.

Balance between work and personal life

• The Work-Life Balance feature is now available to all users, making it easy to switch between Work and Life modes using quick settings.
• WLB 2.0 now supports automatic work/life switching based on specific locations, Wi-Fi, and time, and provides customized app notification profiles to suit personalization.

Canvas A.O.D.

• Canvas AOD brings you a variety of new line and color styles for a more personalized lock screen with inspiring visuals.
• Newly added several brushes and strokes, as well as support for color adjustment
  . Optimized software algorithm and improved face detection to better detect the features and skin color of different figures.
