Google Pixel Watch prototype forgotten in a restaurant
A Google Pixel Watch prototype forgotten in a restaurant, like the iPhone 4 at other times.
In 2010, Apple software engineer Gray Powell left a prototype iPhone 4 at a bar in Redwood City, California. At a time when almost all devices leak before they’re officially announced, images of new iPhones appearing online have become commonplace. But then, more than 10 years ago, the case made a splash, and the American police even played their part. Today with habit can be installed, but it is always an event for lovers of technology. And images of the highly anticipated iPhone 4-like Google Pixel Watch have just surfaced.

This Saturday night, Android Central shared photos of Google’s long-awaited device, the long-famous Pixel Watch. The blog says the images below were from a person who found the smartwatch in a restaurant in the United States. Photos confirm that the Pixel Watch has a round shape with very thin edges. If you look closely, you’ll see that the watch strap attaches directly to the case with a snap mechanism that appears to be proprietary to Google and is not unlike the design used by Fitbit on its Versa and Sense smartwatches – Google bought Fitbit in 2021.

The watch has a single button next to the crown and what looks like a microphone or altimeter port. On the back of the device, you can see the optical heart rate sensor. Unfortunately, the clock doesn’t go beyond the splash screen, so we don’t have images of Wear OS 3 – if that OS is installed at all.
According to a report by insider Jon Prosser published last January, Mountain View will be announcing this Pixel watch on May 26th. The company also recently registered the Pixel Watch name. See you in a few weeks to find out all about this highly anticipated smart watch.
