The last tournament is designed only for residents of India. In addition, the tournament prize pool is a whopping 1,500,000 USD for this inaugural series that will run for 3 months.

BGIS Tournament Requirements

The company has also revealed a set of rules for players who wish to participate in the BGMI tournament. Here’s what you need to know:

• The event is open to players over 16 years of age. However, players under the age of 16 will need parental consent to participate in the tournament.
• All players must be residents of India.
• BGMI account must be level 15 or higher and players must be Platinum or higher.
• Only 4 players are allowed per team. There will be no replacement.

Qualifying games

During this round, the developers will select the top 1,024 teams to qualify online. Online qualification

The online qualifier will start on August 17th and end on September 12th. The top 1,024 teams that qualified during the qualifiers will face each other in the online qualifiers for 21 days. From now on, the top 64 teams will advance to the quarter-finals. The online qualifier will consist of three rounds. From Round 1, the top 512 teams will advance to Round 2. Crafton revealed that the top 16 teams will battle each other from October 7 to 10 and the winner of the Battleground Mobile India Series 2021 will be determined.
