Morbius: Spider-Man’s New Enemy Finally Arrives in Movies
The vampire film from Sony Pictures Entertainment is ready to be watched by fans of the web universe.
In Morbius, directed by Daniel Espinoza (Life, Child 44, Vault), American comedian Jared Leto plays the enigmatic anti-hero Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disease and determined to save others who have suffered the same fate, Dr. Morbius embarks on a desperate gamble. Although at first everything seems like a swift success, the darkness inside him is released. Will good triumph over evil, or will Morbius succumb to his new mysterious urges?
Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal and Tyrese Gibson also star in a Sony Pictures Entertainment/Columbia Pictures film based on the Marvel comics that Matt Sazama and Burke Sharpless adapted to their sauce to create a film adaptation that includes the Human universe -spider from Sony. Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach and Lucas Foster produced the film, with Louise Rosner and Emma Ludbrook serving as executive producers.
