BGMI India Series 2021: Team XO wins The Grind, takes home $1300

iQOO Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Series 2021 got off to a good start with 32 invited teams putting on a real show at The Grind. Finally, after 2 weeks of crazy competition, Team XO finally came out on top and left with a $1300 cash prize.

TSM and GodLike Esports take the other two places on the podium and take home a decent $650 and $325 respectively. MVP The Grind — Savitar01 from Team Forever with $325. The Grind had several BGMI games at the elite level and fierce competition, which was a sign that the tournament was ahead. Entering the second day of the grand finals, Team XO pulled away from Team Forever a bit, which they managed to keep.

The first week of Grind had some really cool performances from companies like OR Esports and Orangutan Gaming, but in week 2 Team XO really turned on the afterburner to play very aggressively and leave with a lot of finishes. TSM managed to fight from the last rows and take second place, while Godlike Esports also made a dramatic resurgence after the first week and took third place at the end of the second week.

The 32 invited teams will now compete against the rest of the in-game qualifiers. The first round starts on December 16, 2021. The 2021 iQOO Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) game series has proven to be a real event so far and it’s only getting more intense soon.

The XO team would ideally want to pass on that momentum to the tournament and hopefully win the top prize. However, no one can count any of the other 32 invited teams as they all showed off some high-end BGMI skills during The Grind.
