Apex Legends Mobile limited launch on March 7 for participating countries only
Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment has just announced that they are now postponing Apex Legends Mobile’s regional launch given current worldwide events. The game will now launch in select countries on March 7, 2022.
The game will be available on Android and iOS in the following countries: Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and Colombia. Although India participated in the regional beta a while ago, it will not participate in the regional launch on March 7th.
Apex Legends Mobile’s global launch is likely to take place later this year, and Respawn has assured it will happen once they gather enough feedback on the game’s regional launches.
Apex Legends Mobile Regional Launch Delayed
The regional launch of the game will feature quite a lot of content as well as legends to choose from. During the regional launch, players will be able to play as Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, Bangalore, Octane, Mirage, Pathfinder and Caustic.
The studio has confirmed that they will share more information about the game’s global launch at a later date. While the game’s regional launch will contain most of the game’s systems and content, Respawn says more features and content will be available at the global launch.
The game can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the App Store, depending on the device you are using. It’s also worth noting that Respawn has confirmed that the game was made specifically for mobile and will not support cross-play with the console or PC version of Apex Legends.
The game will require at least Android 8.1, 3 GB of RAM and Open GL 3.0 or higher. For iOS, the game will support iPhone 6s and above with at least 3 GB of free space.
