Overwatch 2: Sojourn, the first new character

Blizzard Entertainment is introducing former Captain Sojorn ahead of the Overwatch 2 closed beta on PC.

A new character joining the Blizzard Entertainment franchise, Sojorn (real name Vivian Chase) will feature unique mid-range gameplay in Overwatch 2, with an arsenal giving her exceptional mobility and firepower.

“ We can’t wait to see how the public will play Sojourn during the beta test starting April 26th! We know she has a lot of agility potential, so our team will be monitoring her performance at various levels of play to make sure she appeals to everyone,” says lead character designer Josh No.

• Disruptive Shot is an area of ​​effect ability that slows enemies and deals damage. Sojorn can take advantage of this to increase the effectiveness of his Railgun. Early prototypes of this ability damaged screens, but in the final version, it mostly complements secondary fire. Therefore, it is better to keep an eye on the heroine: if you fall victim to her Devastating Shot, it is likely that she has you in her crosshairs.

• Sojourn’s Tackle adds more mobility to her arsenal. She glides along the ground with the help of engines and can jump into the air at any moment. When used correctly, this ability allows you to change your position very quickly.
• Sojorn chose her modifications to become the most effective fighter, unlike Genji, who had no choice but to turn into a cyborg. For the new heroine, her cybernetic body and her abilities are only a means to an end; only his goal matters

Overclock (max ability)

• Sojorn’s ultimate ability automatically charges energy from her Railgun for a short duration. His shots can then pierce opponents. Overclocking is another example of the benefits that its arsenal offers when used carefully and dexterously. When the heroine activates her ult, the additional fire of the Electric Cannon allows her to quickly destroy enemies with super-powerful shots.
