Halo: the first trailer for the film adaptation of the series
The Halo TV series is finally on video after years of waiting.
Produced by Showtime in partnership with Amblin Television and Steven Spielberg’s 343 Industries, Halo will air on the Paramount+ streaming platform starting March 24. It stars Canadian actor Pablo Schreiber (Fringe, American Gods, Jacob’s Defense) as Master Chief, a Spartan super-soldier caught in the middle of an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant.

The Master Chief, who is “mankind’s greatest weapon”against an invading alien race, has been “improved and trained for one purpose: to win this war,”says Dr. Katherine Elizabeth Halsey, played by Natasha McElhone (Californication, Saints and Strangers “,”Designated Survivors). The trailer, which premiered during the AFC NFL Finals between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals, also provides a first look at Kyle Killen and Stephen Kane’s approach to the Halo franchise’s main antagonists and the Master Chief’s exploits on the Warthog.
Ten episodes are already planned. If successful, a new season will be launched. The Microsoft Halo license has become a global entertainment phenomenon over time, with over 77 million copies sold worldwide and over $60 billion in revenue.
