Disney Dreamlight Valley: When Animal Crossing Meets Wall-E and Moana

Gameloft Montreal presents Disney Dreamlight Valley, a very complete simulation game featuring Disney and Pixar characters.

If you feel like you’ve done it all with Animal Crossing: New Horizons and are looking for a similar new game, Disney Dreamlight Valley might be worth checking out. This game of the future is a simulation game with Disney and Pixar characters that needs no introduction.

Gameloft Montreal Presents Disney Dreamlight Valley

You will be able to customize your character with t-shirts, dresses, hats and other things that you have designed yourself. They can also be paired with a Mickey Mouse outfit or a Disney princess ball gown. Your home and village, which will include several biomes, including snow-capped mountains and a peaceful meadow, can be decorated and upgraded.

As you explore, players will meet famous characters such as Buzz Lightyear, Moana, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Simba, Anna, Elsa and Belle. There seems to be a lot to be done. For example, you can cook with Remy from Ratatouille, fish with Goofy, or hang out with Wall-E.

Disney Dreamlight Valley also features a story campaign. After a very mysterious event called Oblivion, the village turns out to be full of Thorns of the Night. You have to clear these spikes and help the inhabitants regain their memory by completing quests. You will also unlock new areas. The developer, Gameloft Montreal, promises regular updates, including activities directly related to Disney and Pixar movies and events.

Disney Dreamlight Valley will be available on PC, Mac, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. The launch date is scheduled for 2023 in free-to-play, but early access should be offered this summer via Xbox Game Pass or by purchasing the Founder’s Pack. Gameloft Montreal indicates that the Early Access period will allow you to take advantage of exclusive rewards.
