JioPhone Next goes on first sale on Reliance Digital without any registration

JioPhone Next debuted in the country last month. JioPhone Next is an entry-level smartphone aimed at those who buy smartphones for the first time. The phone comes with a 5.45-inch display, a Snapdragon 215 SoC, a 3500mAh battery and is loaded with Android 11 Go Edition. JioPhone Next was available for purchase exclusively through JioMart after registration. In addition to JioMart, the phone is now available in Reliance Digital stores without registration.

JioPhone Next is available for purchase for $87. The phone can also be purchased with a $27 down payment and the rest can be paid to EMI over the next 18/24 months. These EMI plans also offer comprehensive benefits such as data and calls.

To make the deal even more enjoyable, Reliance Digital is offering an additional 10% discount on Yes Bank credit cards. For American Express credit cards, the discount is capped at 7.5%, and for ICICI Bank debit and credit cards, it’s capped at 5% on JioPhone Next purchases.

The JioPhone comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. The display has an anti-fingerprint coating and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

JioPhone Next is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. It comes with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB internal storage. The JioPhone Next comes with a micro-SD card slot that allows users to expand storage up to 512GB. It boots Android 11 (Go Edition) with Pragati OS.

The JioPhone is equipped with a 13 MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8-megapixel camera. The phone has a 3500 mAh battery and a micro-USB charging port. It also offers a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. Connectivity options include dual SIM, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. The phone comes preloaded with Jio and Google apps, including Google Play Store, YouTube, JioSaavn, MyJio, JioTV, JioCinema, and more.
