NBA All-World: Basketball in the Metaverse
Niantic introduces NBA All-World as an officially licensed free-to-play, location-based basketball game.
Niantic’s next augmented reality mobile game, NBA All-World, will take the game loops familiar to Pokémon Go fans and apply them to basketball as both a recreational sport and a lifestyle. Players will be able to collect NBA stars, upgrade and customize them with items collected while visiting real locations, and compete against other players in head-to-head matches on the courts in their area and elsewhere. NBA All-World does not yet have a launch date or release window, but will be available on iOS and Android.
