No Man’s Sky is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 7th, and it’s looking pretty good on the Big N console.

The Nintendo Switch is a very successful console in many ways. Its success with the general public allows many studios to start porting iconic games without too much risk. And very soon, players will be able to (re)discover No Man’s Sky on the Big N hybrid console.

No Man’s Sky is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 7th.

No Man’s Sky is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 7, which is what fans are expecting, to say the least. The Switch version was originally announced this summer, so we’ll have to wait a few more weeks.

This sandbox-style sci-fi survival game launched on PC and PlayStation 4 in 2016 before releasing on Xbox One two years later. Therefore, it took a long, long time for it to appear on the Nintendo Switch. But Switch players will have access to all the features and updates that Hello Games has been offering No Man’s Sky since launch. And the least we can say is that all this content and these fixes have made the game much more interesting than when it was released.

And the experience looks pretty good on the Big N console.

Some gamers may be wary of playing on the rather limited Switch hardware. Hello Games has attempted to allay those concerns by releasing a video showing the game running really well on the console, but we’re yet to see what exactly in terms of performance.

Note. Hello Games will release the physical and digital edition of No Man’s Sky for Switch on October 7th. And on the same day, fans can enjoy the physical version of the PS5 for the first time. No Man’s Sky is also due for Mac and iPad later this year.
