AltStore and AltServer v1.5.1 updates fix many bugs with proper bug fixes.
The AltStore team has released a fresh update to their popular AltStore and AltServer software for downloading unpublished apps for iPhone and iPad, and it is now available to all users.
In a Twitter announcement, the team described the update as version 1.5.1 with many bug fixes and improvements that are sure to improve the user experience.
Referring to the changelog, these software updates provide the following improvements:
- Fixes an issue with Apple IDs containing uppercase letters.
- Fixes an issue with using Apple IDs with two-factor authentication without trusted devices.
- Addresses an issue that may cause users to be repeatedly asked to sign in after each update.
- Fixes an issue that could cause users to see “incorrect Apple ID or password”error messages after changing their Apple ID email address.
- We fixed an issue that could cause users to see “app ID missing”error messages when downloading or deactivating certain apps.
- Fixed possible crash when receiving unknown error codes from AltStore.
- And many other bug fixes
Users can find the AltStore update by launching the AltStore app on their iPhone or iPad. Conversely, users can find an update to AltServer by checking for updates on their Mac or Windows PC:
