Iqoo Neo 6 India Launch Date Announced: Specs, Expected Price & More

Iqoo Neo 6 will go on sale in India next week. The company has confirmed that the Iqoo Neo 6 will go on sale in India on May 31st. For those who don’t know, this will be the company’s first smartphone of the Neo series, although the brand has been selling its phones in India for over two years now. The Iqoo Neo 6 will be available on Amazon after the phone launches next week.

Even though the company has already launched the Neo 6 in China, the Indian version will have a different set of specs than the Chinese model. The device is confirmed to be equipped with Snapdragon 870 5G chipset and 80W fast charging in India, which is in line with the Chinese version of Iqoo Neo 6 SE.

Iqoo Neo 6 launch in India: what we know so far

The Iqoo Neo 6, which will launch next Tuesday in India, will be powered by Snapdragon 870 5G chipset clocked at up to 3.2GHz and Adreno 650 GPU. The phone will also come with UFS 3.1 storage. In terms of charging speed, the phone will support 80W fast wired charging. The phone will be able to charge 50% in just 12 minutes. It comes with a 4700 mAh battery. The phone is also equipped with a 36,907 sq. mm.

These specs are the same as the Iqoo Neo 6 SE, which means there is a possibility that the Indian variant of the Neo 6 will be a rebrand of the Neo 6 SE from China. In this case, here’s what we can expect from the phone.

In India, the Iqoo Neo 6 may come with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone can offer up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. In terms of cameras, the Neo 6 in India is expected to feature a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front is a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

In terms of pricing, the device starts at RMB 1,999 (~Rs 23,100) in China, which means we can expect the device to be priced below Rs 30,000, if not around Rs 25,000.
