The Umbrella Academy is back with its fourth and final season on Netflix

The fourth season of The Umbrella Academy will be the last for the superhero series.

The actors from the TV series The Umbrella Academy who will return to their roles in season 4 are Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castaneda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya and Colm Feore. Actors Adam Godley, Genesis Rodriguez and Britne Aldford are not on the list as the fate of their characters was left undecided in the Umbrella Academy season 3 finale, which aired from last June on the streaming platform Netflix.

Steve Blackman, showrunner, writer and executive producer of The Umbrella Academy says:

I am so happy that the incredibly dedicated fans of The Umbrella Academy can be a worthy end to the Hargreaves brother and sister journey we started five years ago. But before we jump to that conclusion, we have an incredible story for Season 4 that will keep fans on their toes until the very last minute.

As part of a promotional interview related to the announcement of the renewal of The Umbrella Academy television series for a fourth and final season, Steve Blackman spoke about the new timeline as the Umbrella Academy is now in a new world, without her powers and visibly divided, not to mention Sloan’s disappearance:

Brothers are always ready for trials. This new timeline was dictated by Hargreaves, who replanned the universe at the end of the season 3 finale. But due to Allison’s actions, he was unable to finish what he started before. Allison presses the reset button. So the loss of sibling abilities won’t be the only quirk of this timeline. New enemies have appeared who want them to disappear from the face of the earth, but how do they manage without their forces? Is there any way to get them back? The stakes have never been higher.

Will Ben from Umbrella Season 4 be different from Ben from Umbrella and Ben from Sparrow?
