Alien: Isolation is finally coming to Android and iOS in December 2021
Alien: Isolation, one of the biggest surprises of 2014 and a truly brilliant survival horror game, is coming to Android and iOS in December. Back in 2014, the game received critical praise for the revolutionary AI technology that powers the terrifying Xenomorph and how it could adapt to the player’s tactics on the fly, which created an extremely tense atmosphere.
The game port for Android and iOS is being developed by Feral Interactive, the studio responsible for porting Alien: Isolation a swell to the Switch. Alien: Isolation continues to be a favorite among survival horror fans as one of the best games out there, and it should be just as awesome on smartphones as it is on PC and consoles.
Alien: Isolation Coming to Android/iOS in December 2021
The game will release on Android and iOS on December 16, 2021 and will feature, according to Feral Interactive, “AAA visuals, confident storytelling and atmosphere.”The Android and iOS release will also contain all 7 Alien: Isolation DLC packs, including Last Survivor and Crew Expendable. Luckily, the iOS and Android versions will also support controllers and gamepads, but Feral Interactive has assured fans that the game will be adapted for touchscreen play.
Alien: Isolation is truly a landmark achievement in gaming, despite a few storytelling and pacing issues. iOS players can pre-order the game right now and it will be available for purchase on December 16 for £12.99 / $14.99.
The game, along with the DLC packs, seems like a very worthwhile investment, especially given how well thought out the overall game is. Alien: Isolation manages to build tension quite well without feeling cheap, and the Xenomorph, constantly adapting to the player’s tactics, never gets old.
