Amazon cancels Prime Video sci-fi series ‘Night Sky’
Despite the cliffhanger heralding a sequel, Night Sky won’t be returning for a second season.
A month and a half after airing eight episodes of Night Sky, co-produced by Amazon Studios and Legendary Television, Amazon decided not to order new episodes despite mostly positive reviews, while marking the history of television with an episode-to-space broadcast thanks to Amazon Simple Email Service (ASES), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Intelsat. Note that “Night Sky”did not have a significant impact on the audience, although it did have a significant cost associated with its sci-fi content.
