It will be interesting to see if the anime is of real interest for the NieR: Automata license, as the recent Edgerunners on Netflix could be for Cyberpunk 2077. The company hasn’t announced anything about a proper sequel yet, although fans got a mobile spin-off and remaster of the original game last year.
