Krafton BGMI Power Play IPL 2022 Announcement: Permanent Cricket Jersey & More

In celebration of the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL), Krafton has announced the BGMI Power Play event. The event will give players the opportunity to purchase a cricket jersey forever. Gear can be won by playing BGMI and completing certain in-game challenges until May 25, 2022.

To earn exclusive gear and other in-game rewards, players will need to earn Cricket Bats, a new in-game item that can be obtained by completing quests. The two challenges required to win Cricket Bats are Keep Swimming and Battle Strong.

Completing said objectives in these events will reward players with cricket bats, which can be traded in to win multiple rewards such as the aforementioned cricket jersey, a set of fluffy bunnies, and more.

How to win a cricket jersey in the BGMI Power Play tournament?

Awards:

• 5 Bats – Supply Crate Coupon Fragment
• 10 Bats – 1 Classic Crate Coupon Fragment
• 20 Bats – 50 RP
• 100 bats – a set of fluffy rabbits
• 100 Bats – Cricket Jersey

Problems:

• Keep Swimming – Swim 30 meters in classic mode every day (1 bat)
• Keep Swimming – Swim 10 meters in classic mode every day (1 bat)
• Power Play Battle – Play Classic Mode 25 times (50 Bats)
• Power Play Battle – Play Classic Mode 15 times (30 Bats)
• Power Play Battle – Play Classic Mode 5 times (10 Bats)

Completing these challenges will give players enough Bats to earn the rewards mentioned above. The BGMI Power Play event will only run until May 25th, and bats will only be redeemable until then.

Once players have enough bats to claim a cricket jersey, they will be able to do so on the BGMI Power Play page in the game. Players can only redeem a cricket jersey in the game.

Krafton is actively pursuing these special events to attract a significant audience in the Indian market. The Power Play event is likely a sign of other major sporting crossover events.
