Rainbow Six Siege Operation Vector Glare Announced: New SENS Operator, Yakuza Set, New Details

Rainbow Six Siege launches Operation Vector Glare on June 7th and brings with it the newest addition to the roster of Operators, SENS. The Belgian offensive operator, the SENS skill and toy set, includes a ROU projector system that can create opaque light walls that block defenders’ view.

In addition to defense, the projector can be used to create unique attacking opportunities for attackers. SENS Gear introduces a new weapon in Rainbow Six Siege, the POF-9 Assault Rifle, which will be available in the Vector Glare Battle Pass, unlockable 2 weeks after launch with Renown or R6 Credits.

Ahead of the launch of Operation Vector Glare, Rainbow Six is bringing players the latest Crossover Bundle. Starting May 24, players will be able to transform two Japanese operatives into Kiryu and Kaoru from the iconic Yakuza franchise.

Players will be able to transform Echo into Kiryu and Hibana while playing as Kaworu Sayama. The pack costs around 2160 R6 Credits, which means players will have to shell out quite a bit to get their hands on these Yakuza skins.

Operation Vector Glare will likely include more content for Rainbow Six Siege players. The new seasons will arrive on the PC Test Server on May 24th, with the full season launching on June 7th.

The new SENS ROU projector system is getting the attention of many, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the rest of its kit. SENS seems to be a fairly versatile Operator, as his projector can be used in a variety of ways, making him quite a difficult opponent.

SENS is the second operator introduced this year, the first being Azami from Demon Veil. A total of 4 operators will be introduced this year, with two others from Singapore and Colombia coming later this year.
