Apple iPhone SE 5G Storage and color options leaked ahead of launch

Apple confirmed the new event on March 8th. The company has sent out invitations to members of the media for a “Peek Performance”event that will take place virtually. Apple is expected to unveil several new products at the event. One of the expected devices to be unveiled at Apple’s upcoming event is the iPhone SE 5G.

In typical Apple style, the company did not confirm information about products launching on March 8. However, some details have leaked out of the rumor mill. One of the well-known analysts, Ming-Chi Kuo, released data on the memory and colors of the iPhone SE 5G ahead of the launch. Let’s take a look at the specs, features, and other details of the iPhone SE 5G.

The iPhone SE 5G will be Apple’s most affordable 5G smartphone, launching on March 8. Information about the amount of memory and color options of the device was leaked to the network. Analyst Kuo, who keeps a fairly accurate record of Apple’s leaks, claims that Apple will release a new 5G smartphone with three storage options. The base variant will have 64 GB of internal memory. It will also come with 128GB and 256GB storage options. Apple released the 2020 iPhone SE with the same storage configuration.

Kuo also claims that the phone will come in red, white, and black color options. This is, again, the same as the 2020 SE model. In addition to this, the analyst revealed that the iPhone SE 2022 will ship with the A15 chipset that is used in the iPhone 13 series. The smartphone will support sub-6GHz mmWave and 5G bands.

Mass production of the budget 5G iPhone will begin in March 2022. The phone will have the same design as the previous model. We can expect the iPhone 5G to come with a 4.7-inch display. It will have thick bezels above and below the display. The chin will house the Home button for the Touch ID fingerprint scanner. On the back of the phone, there will be a single rear camera with an LED flash. Apple estimates that around 25-30 million SE 5G units will ship in 2022.
