Apple Maps launches bike trails in Hawaii, now covering all 50 states
Apple Maps has gradually improved over the years. Especially when it comes to adding features like bike routes and others. Of course, the actual lighting is the most important part of any new feature, and the good news is that Apple now has all 50 US states covered by bike trails.
The last time we heard of any kind of expansion was in April of this year, when bike trails were launched in Chicago, Detroit, and other major US cities. As of July of this year, 49 states were offering this feature to Apple. User cards. And now, according to people on Reddit (via MacRumors), Apple Maps is available in Hawaii.
This means that all 50 states are now covered.
With bike routes, users on a bike will be able to get turn-by-turn navigation from one point to another. In addition, this feature also covers bike lanes, bike lanes and, as you can see in the image above, will show when someone will need to use shared roads. This feature also shows stairs along the path, when the road might be loaded, and more. Use with Apple Watch and voice navigation can be especially helpful for cyclists who can’t look at their phone while riding.
Bicycle routes are also available internationally, including in China, Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, Barcelona and London.
