Apple may schedule iPhone 14 presentation for September 7th
The information came from Mark Gurman, a well-informed Apple reporter. According to his Bloomberg post, the iPhone 14 will be announced on September 7th, with the devices hitting stores next week on Friday, September 16th. Of course, this information is not official until the event becomes official. Apple Events webpage.
Gurman says it will be another online product presentation, with a pre-recorded presentation streamed through Apple’s homepage, its YouTube channel, and the TV app.
The company intends to stream the event online rather than having face-to-face meetings, continuing the approach it took at the start of the pandemic. Apple launches are highly polished cases, and employees have already begun recording presentation segments over the past few weeks.
We will post a tutorial explaining how to follow as soon as details are available.
What will Apple announce on September 7th?
This will be an iPhone event first, so all eyes will be on the iPhone 14 family, which should include two 6.1-inch devices and two 6.7-inch devices.
No mini iPhones are expected this year. In addition to the new phones, we’re also looking forward to the Apple Watch Series 8 with three new models this year: the regular Series 8 update, the next Apple Watch SE, and a rumored ruggedized model. Apple may also unveil the next AirPods Pro at the event.
What about iPad and Mac?
As for other updates, such as the new Apple Mac and iPad silicon computers, the company usually introduces these products at a separate event in October. We believe that this year will be the same as previous years. So, two events: one in September, the other in October.
