Apple is introducing two new Pride Edition bands for its Apple Watch. Colorful bracelets, of course!
As June kicks off in a short week, Apple has just announced two new Pride March-themed bands for its Apple Watch. The ability to express yourself with a simple bracelet on your wrist. So, without further ado, here’s what we’re talking about.

The first bracelet is a nice nod to the classic buckle sports bracelet, with a color gradient that takes on the colors of the rainbow we see on many flags during Pride. Light blue, purple, white, brown and black are added to this. The first three colors represent transgender and non-binary people. The last two, black and Hispanic communities.
This bracelet is also a tribute to the history of the Cupertino company. Apple used a new weaving technique to remove some loops from the strap. This helps create a two-tone effect that the company uses to include the word “Pride”on the outside of the bracelet. The word itself is written in cursive, similar to the one used by the Apple brand to sign “hello”on their Macintosh in 1984.
There’s also a new Nike Pride Edition Sport Loop strap. It uses the original colors of the rainbow interspersed with black stripes. And it comes with a Nike Bounce watch face.

These two new bracelets are available for 49 euros in the Apple Store. Apple has also released a new Pride Threads watch face. The latter is available on Apple Watch Series 4 and later with watchOS 8.6 installed. “This new watch face combines colors to represent the strength and mutual aid of the LGBTQ+ movement,”Apple said in a statement. The dial hands move when you turn the Digital Crown, touch the screen, or lift your wrist to activate the screen.
