Rumor has it that along with the iPhone SE 3, also known as the iPhone SE 5G, Apple will introduce new iPad models at a spring event. A lot of details and rumors about upcoming Apple products have been leaked in the past. The latest leak suggests that the launch of new iPhone and iPad models in India is imminent.

A 91Mobiles report claims that the iPhone SE 3 and two new iPad models were imported to India for testing. Let’s take a look at the key specs and features of the new iPhone SE 3 and iPad models that have already been leaked.

iPhone SE 3 launch in India imminent?

Apple has yet to confirm a launch date for the iPhone SE 3. However, it looks like an affordable iPhone release is imminent. The report states that iPhones with model numbers A2595, A2783 and A2784 were imported to India for testing. It is said to be priced around US$300 (roughly Rs. 22,500). The 91Mobiles report suggests that this model is the SE 3.

The upcoming SE 3 is said to have 5G network support with the A15 chip. It will still have the same design as the 2020 model. This means the phone will have a 4.7-inch display with a Home Touch ID button on the bottom. We can expect the iPhone SE 5G variant to come with a 12-megapixel camera on the back.

In addition to this, Apple has also imported two unannounced iPad models. One of the two models has model numbers A2588 and A2589. The device is said to be the iPad Air, which costs between $500 and $700 (roughly Rs. 37,500-52,300). According to leaks, the iPad Air 2022 may come with Apple’s A15 Bionic chip, 5G network support, Center Stage support, and more. It is said to have the same design cues as Apple’s 2020 Air model.

The other iPad model is probably the budget iPad, which costs around $300 (roughly Rs. 22,500). This variant has model numbers A2757 and A2761. The upcoming budget iPad is said to receive additional upgrades over the 9th generation model. However, details remain scarce at the moment.

The mentioned price is unlikely to be the starting price of future Apple products, given local taxes and import duties that will be charged by the government.
