Apple TV and Fire TV finally get surround sound on YouTube TV

Apple TV and Fire TV finally got surround sound on YouTube TV. Ideal for viewing content in immersive mode.

Now you can enjoy surround sound while watching your favorite YouTube TV content on Apple TV or Fire TV. According to The Verge, the TV streaming service has expanded the list of devices that support its movies and series in 5.1 after rolling out the feature to Android TV, Google TV and Roku last June.

YouTube TV began testing 5.1 audio for these first three devices in March, promising to work on support for Apple TV and Fire TV devices as well as game consoles at the time.
