Apple releases tvOS 16.3 with minor improvements

Along with the 16.3 HomePod software update that Apple released on Tuesday, it seems like even the Apple TV has received the 16.3 badge of honor.

The new tvOS 16.3 software update can be downloaded and installed on any compatible Apple TV by visiting the Software Update section in the Settings app. around this time.

As noted on Apple’s “About Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD Software Updates”page, tvOS 16.3 only includes “general performance and stability improvements.”

While this is important, it means that end users probably won’t notice any difference in usability, features, or aesthetics after updating their Apple TV software to tvOS 16.3. Instead, they are minor internal improvements.
