Live action and computer graphics for the film adaptation of the classic animated film “Aristocats”.
Whereas Disney should already be planning several feature films and adaptations of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Lilo & Stitch, Pinocchio, The Little Mermaid or even Tinker Bell over the next few years. Following the success of Cruella, Maleficent, Mulan, Aladdin, The Lion King, Dumbo, Beauty and the Beast, and Lady and the Tramp, the big-eared firm has approved the development of a feature film for “Cats-aristocrats”.
Will Gluck (producer under the Olive Bridge Entertainment banner) and Keith Bunin, who are both in the early stages of development, will write the script with a team in charge of films that combine live action and CGI. In terms of staging, the goal was to get closer to the Lady in the Tramp. At the moment, there is no word on whether this remake will hit theaters or directly on the Disney+ streaming platform.
