ASUS ROG Phone 6 will feature 18GB of RAM, full specs to be released before July 5th launch
ASUS is ready to release the ASUS ROG Phone 6 on July 5th. The upcoming ROG Phone 6 is confirmed to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The phone was recently spotted in the 3C certification database with support for 65W fast charging. Ahead of the launch, Digital Chat Station has shared the main features of the ROG Phone 6 on Weibo. DCS claims that the ROG Phone 6 will have 18GB of RAM.
The upcoming gaming phone from ASUS is also reported to feature an OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. ROG Phone 6 may offer a 6000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. Let’s take a look at the leaked specs of the ROG Phone 6.
ASUS ROG Phone 6: specs leaked!
The upcoming ROG series device is expected to feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ OLED display. There may also be an optical fingerprint scanner under the display panel. The brand has already confirmed a 165Hz display refresh rate for the device.
The device is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process technology. DCS claims that the upcoming gaming device will have 18GB of RAM. The device will be offered with built-in memory up to 1 TB.
The ROG Phone 6 is said to be equipped with a 6000 mAh battery, due to which it will weigh 229 grams. It could be a dual cell battery. The phone will reportedly offer support for 65W fast charging and will be around 10.39mm thick.
Speaking of cameras, Digital Chat Station reports that the ROG series device will offer a triple rear camera setup, including a 64MP main camera. The resolution and functionality of the remaining two sensors have not yet been disclosed.
Asus has partnered with Tencent, and as a result, the upcoming device will feature Tencent’s dedicated Solar Core game acceleration engine. This will provide an optimized gaming experience for Tencent games.
