Asus ROG Phone II gets Android 11 before Android 12 launch: what’s new
Asus has started rolling out the Android 11 update for the Asus ROG Phone ll smartphone. According to XDA developers, the new ROG Phone ll Android 11 update has build 18.0210.2111.160. The update began rolling out ROG Phone II devices from Tuesday, notes an XDA developer. The Android 11 update for ROG Phone II came just in time as other OEMs started rolling out the Android 12 update for their devices. The new software update for ROG Phone II includes Android 11, a notifications conversation section, a built-in screen recorder, new app APIs, and privacy improvements.
ASUS ROG Phone ll Android 11 update released
The Android 11 update changelog for ROG Phone ll is posted by Asus on their Chinese website. The Taiwanese smartphone maker has yet to officially release the changelog of the update on its English website. According to the changelog, the new Android 11 software version brings a new ROG UI interface design, one-time permissions, improved file access control, Android 11 notification bar style, support for displaying notifications of ongoing conversations, nearby sharing, and more.
