Bethesda will remove its PC client in favor of Steam

The American publisher Bethesda.net platform will cease to exist in the coming months.

Launched six years ago, Bethesda.net is preparing to disappear as gamers become more and more overwhelmed with different clients: “This year we say goodbye to our launcher. We want to thank you for your support and assure us that nothing will happen to your games. If you don’t play PC games through Bethesda.net, you don’t need to do anything. Thanks for reading this far!

If you have games through Bethesda.net, don’t worry. From the beginning of April, you will be able to transfer your games and wallet to your Steam account. Until May, you will still be able to access and play your games through Bethesda.net, but we encourage you to start the migration process as soon as it becomes available. Many games will also transfer their saves, but some will require a manual transfer. For games that require it, you will still need to use your Bethesda.net credentials to sign in and play. Your Bethesda.net account is online and in-game, and we will continue to support all Bethesda.net accounts in our future games. ”
