A new Krafton BGMI teaser on Facebook confirms the arrival of the Aftermath map. The new map will be available to players in Classic Mode. PUBG Mobile players have recently received an update and the version for players in India will most likely stay the same.
As mentioned above, the teaser image shows an active volcano with surrounding areas destroyed by lava. The 2×2 map will be available in beta for Classic mode players. Since the card will be in the Unranked section, players won’t have to worry about getting negative points if they get knocked out early in the match. According to We, all firearms will be equipped with an AC Core module to help players aim better and control recoil more effectively. Krafton is also adding another new feature called Tactical Glasses which will show the damage dealt by an enemy when shooting at them.
In total, 50 players can participate in one match, which is about the same as on the Livik Classic map. The teaser image also confirms the presence of Buggy’s car on the Aftermath map. We can expect other vehicles such as Jeep, Monster Truck and Bike to be available as well.
The BGMI 1.8 update will be available soon for both Android and iOS. It will also introduce the highly anticipated Spider-Man themed event along with the new season of RP.
