BGMI teases that Spider-Man can’t cooperate at home
Spider-Man: No Way Home releases tomorrow, and it looks like BGMI may be teasing a possible collaboration with the film, as evidenced by the latest promotional image. BGMI simply teased the collaboration with a signature helmet surrounded by webs on all sides. This theory has a couple of pillars, as BGMI’s global siblings, PUBG Mobile, recently unveiled the Spider-Man: No Way Home collaboration in January.
This is not the first time that collaboration between PUBG Mobile and some popular IPs has also become available on BGMI. Also, Spider-Man is now a regular presence in battle royales and his inclusion in Fortnite has been received quite well.
BGMI x Spider-Man: No Way Home collaboration could be on the cards
It will be interesting to see what kind of collaboration BGMI could have, and if it looks like it’s going to be as broad and specific as Fortnite. There will most likely be unique cosmetic items from the movie available in-game, and players will likely be able to copy the web head mask in-game.
However, PUBG hits the “Swing Into the Spider-Zone”slogan pretty hard, which could allude to some kind of swinging mechanic present in the game. This could be a real game changer for BGMI and drastically change the game, but it could also dampen the core experience. It will be interesting to see what type of collaboration the developers have in mind and whether players will be able to level within BGMI. As of now, Krafton has not confirmed a partnership with Battlegrounds Mobile India, but may do so in the next few days.
