BGMI Introduces OTP Confirmation Time Limit for Minors to Ensure Responsible Gaming

Krafton has made a conscious effort in certain aspects of the game since being able to bring BGMI back to the country, and the Play Responsibly campaign appears to be part of that effort.

This recent campaign, which began with Youtube ads and will be followed by others in the next few weeks, encourages young BGMI players to maintain healthy gaming habits and ensure this through gameplay time limits and one-time password verification.

A couple of these features to promote said “healthy balance between game and life”were envisioned during the launch of the BGMI build, but some new features were added, especially for minors playing the game.

Each underage player under 18 will need to register a parent or guardian before the start of each session, at which point the parent/guardian will or may not receive a one-time password to authorize the session.
