By adding rootless jailbreak support, CCVPN makes Control Center-based VPN switching possible

Users of the Dopamine and palera1n-c rootless jailbreaks for iOS & iPadOS 15 and 16 will be glad to learn that iOS developer KingPuffDaddi has updated the CCVPN modification to accommodate them. This is good news for rootless jailbreak users who use VPNs to increase their online anonymity.

CCVPN toggle for Control Center.

As we demonstrated in our initial review post from last year, CCVPN adds a toggle button to Control Center, which Apple definitely should have included from the beginning. This button allows you to quickly and easily turn your VPN on and off as needed.

When you install CCVPN, you will discover a new Control Center toggle option that, like other toggles in Control Center, allows you to enable or disable your VPN from Control Center as seen above.

The jailbreak community had to step in to fill the gap left by what seemed like such a simple toggle for regular users but was apparently overlooked by Apple’s software engineers when designing Control Center. Is your mind still blown?

The CCVPN toggle supports pwned iOS 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 devices and can be downloaded for free from the BigBoss repository using any package manager software of your choice.

Do you intend to utilize CCVPN if you jailbreak iOS 15 or iPadOS 16 with the rootless Dopamine or palera1n-c tools? Please share your thoughts in the comments box below.
