Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Part One), a new multiverse adventure

Miles Morales reunites with Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Part One).

This new two-part animated Spider-Man film was supposed to focus on the relationship between Miles Morales/Spider-Man (Shameik Moore) and Gwendolyn “Gwen”Maxine Stacy/Spider-Woman (Hailee Steinfeld). Note that Peter Benjamin Parker / Spider-Man (Jake Johnson), an alternate and brash version of the universe hero Miles who was his mentor, Jessica Miriam Drew / Spider-Woman (Issa Rae) and Takuya Yamashiro, the Spider-Man from the Japanese series 1978 will help Miles, Gwen and Miguel O’Hara / Spider-Man 2099 (Oscar Isaac) face new villains.

The first part of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be released on October 7, 2022.

Produced again by Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Christina Steinberg; Alonso Ruvalcaba – co-producer. Phil Lord and Chris Miller will also be credited as the film’s writers, along with David Callaham. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse director Peter Ramsey returns as executive producer alongside Aditya Sood and leaves the torch to Joaquim dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson.
