As Black Adam, the evil version of the superhero Shazam, Dwayne “The Rock”Johnson will play Aldis Hodge (“City on a Hill”, “One Night in Miami”) as Hawkman, Noah Centineo (“Perfect Date”, “Charlie’s Angels”) as Hawkman. Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi (Sex/Life, Guns for Hire) as Adrianna, Marwan Kenzari (Aladdin, Instinct) as Ishmael, Quintessa Swindell (Travelers, Euphoria) as Cyclone, Bodhi Sabonga (“A Million Little Things”, “Legends of Tomorrow”) in Amon’s film and Pierce Brosnan (“James Bond”, “Misfits”) in Doctor Fate.

Nearly five millennia after receiving superpowers from the ancient gods and being imprisoned, the character Black Adam is released from his earthly grave, ready to administer justice in the modern world as his personality has evolved over the years. She oscillates between good and evil. The world needed a hero, Black Adam granted his wish! The beginning of chaos and encounters with some of the key DC comics characters.

Black Adam opens in theaters on October 19 in Europe and October 21 in the US. Jaume Collet-Serra directs from a screenplay by Adam Stykel, Rory Haynes and Sohrab Noshirvani.
