Chromebook Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i and IdeaPad 3i released in India: specs, price

The new Lenovo Ideapad Chromebooks were launched in India today. Meanwhile, at an event in China, Lenovo unveiled the new Yoga 13s 2021 Ryzen Edition along with four other laptops. Today in India, the company launched three new Chromebooks: IdeaPad Flex 3i with 11.6-inch screen, IdeaPad 3i with 11.6-inch and 14-inch displays. These are the latest devices to be added to Lenovo’s Chromebook lineup. Chromebooks are nothing more than small, lightweight laptops built for work, and they run Google’s Chrome OS instead of Windows.

Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i and IdeaPad 3i Specifications

The IdeaPad Flex 3i is a 2-in-1 laptop with a 360° hinge that allows users to rotate the screen and use the device as a tablet. It features an 11.6-inch HD+ touchscreen. The Chromebook is powered by an Intel Celeron N4500 processor with Intel UHD graphics paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.

The IdeaPad 3i, however, comes in 11.6-inch and 14-inch displays and also offers Full HD+ resolution. It features an Intel Celeron N4020 processor with Intel UHD graphics coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. However, this Chromebook is not equipped with a touch screen.

Both Chromebooks run Google’s Chrome OS and offer G-Suite and Voice Assistant. The Chromebook comes with the Google H1 Security Chip to protect against malware and other threats. In terms of connectivity, the Chromebook comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm jack, a microSD card, and two USB-A ports. The Ideapad Flex 3i only has one USB-C port while the Ideapad 3i has two USB-C ports. While these Chromebooks run on an Intel chipset, along with Google’s H1 chip, we may see Chromebooks run only on Google’s own chipset in the future.

Price Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i and IdeaPad 3i

The IdeaPad Flex 3i retails for Rs 30,990 in India and is only available in Arctic Grey. The IdeaPad 3i is priced at Rs 22,990 for the 11-inch variant, while the 14-inch variant is priced at Rs 25,990. The Ideapad 3i is available in Onyx Black and Platinum Grey. All of these new Chromebooks from Lenovo will go on sale from October 3rd on Flipkart and Lenovo India official website. At the moment, only the Lenovo Duet Chromebook is sold on the Lenovo website in India.
