Two formulas are used for these calculations:

• To calculate attack, defense and speed
  • fusionStat = 2*(bodyStat / 3) + (headStat / 3)
• To calculate HP, special attack and special defense
  • fusionStat = (bodyStat / 3) + 2*(headStat / 3)

BodyStat here means the stats of the Pokémon that is acting as the body in the fusion. And headStat means the statistics of the Pokémon that acts as the head of the Pokémon after the merge. Body stats affect physical stats more, while head stats affect your special stats.
