Claytab, Piece of mind, Arc Mobile Companion and other apps worth checking out this weekend.
It’s the weekend again folks – we did it! That means it’s time for another app review of the week. This week we have an app to help you make money, a mental health tracker and a new type of web browser. And, as always, we have selected a great game for you.
clay tab
Claytab wants to help you make more money. As Gary Vaynerchuk always says, “cash is oxygen.” The app literally claims to teach you how to make money, offering tips on investing in finance, stock funds, cryptocurrencies, and NFTs, as well as helpful guides to making money online and starting a business. It’s a video/blog platform with content from all over the world, so there’s bound to be some useful information out there somewhere. But perhaps we should add the disclaimer that this is NOT financial advice.
piece of mind
I still believe that not enough people are taking care of their mental health, so I love finding great wellness apps that I can highlight. It’s called Part of the Mind and helps you track and evaluate all aspects of your mental health, including depression, anxiety, stress, and more. You can identify patterns and trends with the Apple Health app and then share those trends with your doctors. I don’t like having a million paid subscription services, but if it works for you, it’s more than worth the cost.
Arch | mobile companion
It’s hard to imagine a third-party browser coming out in 2023 and making a splash in space, but Arc is trying to do just that. It promises to be “your home on the web”and offers a number of advanced features not found in legacy browsers such as Easels, which is a Pinterest-like pin-up board. It looks like you have to sign up for a waitlist to get full access, but the apps work on both iOS and Mac. Exciting stuff!
call of the dragons
It was a real draw between this game and Brotato: Premium, but after seeing the free version of Brotato coming out soon, I figured I’d just wait for it. Either way, Call of Dragons is the new fantasy conquest MMO from the makers of Rise of Kingdoms. Yes, it’s a free-to-play game with in-app purchases, but it has all the important features, including the new Behemoth combat system, rich 3D worlds to navigate, fantasy creatures to fight, upgradable buildings and skills, and more. Yes, the weekend is for games.
