The Modern Warfare 2 beta is a new era for Call of Duty. With a global campaign, multiplayer and special operations, iconic Task Force 141 returns to MW 2. And along with this, iconic characters such as Soap McTavish, Captain Price and even the Ghost will inevitably return. And while the classics are making a comeback with a modern twist, so are many of the game mechanics. But one game mechanic that has made players very excited is the return of Killstreaks and Scorestreaks. How killstreaks work in Modern Warfare 2

Killstreak is the number of kills you get per round without dying. While it’s as simple as that, the weapons or supports you get from killing streaks are different. It depends on how long your kill streak lasts. While 4 kills in your Modern Warfare 2 kill streak will get you a UAV, 15 kills will get you a Juggernaut.

In Modern Warfare 2, the arsenal you can get from killstreaks and streaks will be installed in your loadout. You can get up to three of these in your loadout depending on your choice and those available to you.

What are scoring bars and how to use them in Call of Duty MW2

The streak is similar to the kill streak in MW2, but the only difference is that points are more important than kills. Every action you perform in a match will earn you points that you can use to earn rewards. While a streak of 500 points in Modern Warfare 2 will get you a UAV, a streak of 1875 will give you a Juggernaut.
