COD MW2 Bunny Hop: how to perform
With the launch of the first season of COD Modern Warfare 2, there are a lot of game mechanics that you can use for tactics. From Dolphin Dive to G-Walk, most of these moves give you a situational advantage over your enemies. The bunny hop is one such tactic that is used in most FPS games. His unpredictability can surprise your opponents and give you more speed. But how to perform this movement? Check out our guide on how to do Bunny Hop in MW2 to find out.
How to bunny hop in Modern Warfare 2
Before using Bunny Hop in MW2, you need to enable the Automatic Tactical Sprint option in the settings. You can find this setting in the gameplay settings. Turn on the Auto Sprint option to enable automatic tactical sprint.
Then follow these steps to complete Bunny Hop in MW2:
- First, move in a straight line. If you are trying this for the first time, we suggest not trying it in front of your enemies.
- As you gain momentum, start jumping continuously without any delay.
You may notice that your second jump is higher than your first jump. You can use this handy move to increase your speed compared to just jumping or running. On top of that, you can also use Bunny Hop to avoid or dodge your opponents’ attacks. Or just ambush your enemies.
Bunny jumping nerfed?
The answer to this question is yes. While Bunny Hop allowed players to jump higher during its beta phase, movement has been loosened up since its launch. There are several threads on Twitter and Reddit offering nerfs. Along with Bunny Hop, Slip Cancel has also been loosened up. However, you can still use these moves to gain an advantage over your opponents.
But Bunny Hopping is more of a situational tactic than other moves in MW2. So make sure you practice well enough before using it against enemies.
