CoD Warzone 2: How to level up weapons (quickly)

While playing CoD Warzone 2, you can quickly level up your weapons as this will give you better attachments for them. But the process of unlocking them mostly involves playing with guns. And while that may be the case, there are many other things you can do to speed up the process. So, in this guide, you will learn how to quickly level up your weapons in CoD Warzone 2.0.

How to level up weapons quickly in CoD Warzone 2

You can level up your weapons in both DMZ and Battle Royale modes.

DMZ playback

DMZ mode is a handy choice when you need to quickly level up your weapons. The main reason for this is that there are bots in this mode. Although these are not the easiest bots to kill. By that I mean you can’t play too causally as they are smart enough to eliminate you. But killing bots should be easier than most people. So for every kill you get 100 XP. This in itself is a pretty good way to start leveling up your weapons. Now inside the match make sure you do the following things:

• Completing Contracts: On the map, you can find several different contracts. Choose the contract closest to you or the one that seems easiest to you and complete it. This will add the XP you earn in the match.
• Loot all you can: When you fall on the map. You will come across several items that you can loot. Make sure you take the ones you need and everything else you can. Looting gives you a small amount of XP. Although this trick alone is not enough to level up your weapons. But it definitely adds up.
• Carry your weapon: There is one catch with this method: if you die, you will lose your weapon. You can still use it later, but after a 120 minute cooldown. But if you play it safe and you can survive. Simply carrying a weapon will earn you a lot of passive experience. Not to mention, if you use it in combat, it will give you even more experience. So, if you are confident in your abilities or are not afraid to take risks, be sure to take a weapon with you.
• Make sure you’re Exfil: You can open your map to check the places you can Exfil from. It has a blue and white icon of a person running towards the door.
  1. Get to the place and call the exfil helicopter.
  2. It will show you a countdown of how long it will take the helicopter to get to you.
  3. Stay alive and kill all the enemies you can.
  4. Finally, once the helicopter arrives, use it and leave.

Play Battle Royale

While you can randomly play Battle Royale mode, you should definitely complete Safecracker or Secure Intel. Safecracker and Secure Intel are the two contracts that give you the most XP in the game’s battle royale mode. And while you’re completing these contracts, make sure you have the weapons you want to upgrade.
