Bose QuietComfort 45 launch price listed on Adorama pre-order listing: How much will it cost?
The Bose QuietComfort 45 Premium Active Noise Canceling On-Ear Headphones are close to launch. The earphones are already up for pre-order from Adorama in the US for $329. The move comes ahead of the company’s official announcement, which is expected shortly. It also confirms previous reports that the new Bose QuietComfort 45 will cost $329 and will therefore sit below the Bose NC700, which comes in a different and even more attractive design, priced at $465 in various countries and $379 in the US.
The QC45 is planned to be a gradual upgrade of its predecessor, the QC35 II. It is expected to switch to a USB-C port and provide 24 hours of playback with an improved battery. It’s also expected to get a fourth microphone, and the four-mic array is expected to improve voice reception – something that not only improves call quality, but also interaction with a hands-free digital assistant like Siri, Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa on compatibles. devices..
The Bose QuietComfort 45 can also come with improved HD audio reproduction, and for that, better audio interruptions. However, this will likely result in incremental improvements over the already reliable sound quality. It is also expected to get two modes – a quiet mode for active noise cancellation and an aware mode for filtering out ambient noise. All of these features are more or less in line with the expected feature set in a high-quality pair of noise-canceling headphones, so it would be interesting to see if they have any other tricks up their sleeve. However, in terms of design, the QC45 is virtually identical to the QC35.
After the launch of the Bose QuietComfort 45, there will be many competitors. The Sony WH-1000XM4 is a leader of its kind with other options such as Bowers & Wilkins PX5, Shure Aonic 50 and Sennheiser Momentum 3, among others. As a result, the QC45 could cost around $400, given that the NC700 sits above it, and the Sony 1000XM4 is already on sale for just $365.
