How to fix dead by daylight crossplay not working
The root cause of this issue could be due to technical errors or because you haven’t enabled the crossplay feature yet. Although in most cases crossplay is enabled by default. But if it doesn’t, you may have to enable it manually.
Here are a few possible ways to fix the crossplay not working issue:
Check server status
- Some of the technical errors may include server downtime or servers running.

- If your servers are down, there is nothing you can do but wait.
- Once the servers are up and running, you can fire up DBD to play cross-play with friends or other players.
Now, if your servers are not down, you may not have turned your servers back on yet.
Enable crossplay manually
Follow these steps to manually enable crossplay in DBD:
- When you launch Dead by Daylight, you will see Options with a gear icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the icon and go to the online options at the bottom of the settings.
