Deadpool 3: Emma Corrin joins the cast and becomes a supervillain

Marvel is banking on British actress Emma Corrin to take on Deadpool and Wolverine.

Emma Corrin will play the villainess in Deadpool 3, the first film under license in which Marvel Studios is working hand in hand with Ryan Reynolds and the team responsible for the new adventures of anti-hero Wade Wilson. Kevin Feige’s involvement in Deadpool 3 came after he helped Sony remake Spider-Man. Note that Shawn Levy is directing, knowing that Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are returning to write the script. Wendy Molyneux and Lizzy Molyneux-Laugeleline wrote an older version of the script.

Replenishment in the family! The Deadpool family, to be clear. Just like a real family, only less swearing. .. Welcome, Emma Corrin! ⚔️❤️⚔️ pic.twitter.com/LSobi4AqO9

Emma Corrin has been in the Marvel spotlight since the holiday season. She is best known for her role as Lady Diana Spencer in the fourth season of the Netflix series The Crown, which won her a Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Award and was also nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. Even if she doesn’t appear in its final season, it’s hard to miss in 2022, when the Amazon drama My Cop premieres at the Toronto Film Festival and the Netflix/Sony co-production Lady Chatterley’s Lover premieres at Telluride.

Hugh Jackman gearing up for Deadpool 3

To reprise his role as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, Hugh Jackman says he has six months to get in shape:

I’ve learned not to rush. I learned that it takes time. So we have six months between the end of The Musician on Broadway and the start of filming. And I don’t do any other work. I will be with my family and I will train. This will be my job for six months. And I’m in very good shape now. Singing and dancing eight times a week on Broadway kept me in shape. So I’m healthy. I have a good starting point. And my apologies, my chicken friends. Run a mile. Now run, because I’m coming for you.
